They’re still tallying-up the count for the 3rd annual ‘battle for Henry County schools’ in their electronics recycling drive from this past weekend. All four Henry County schools held drives at on Saturday, collecting everything from blenders to computer hard drives.
Napoleon high school reported 207 vehicles went through their drop-off site in the west sparking lot. But there were more materials being collected this week. Some local companies even chipped-in by donating the use of forklifts to help in moving the electronics around. It’s likely the final tally for each school will not be known until next week, when a winner is announced. Liberty Center high school has won the first two years in the electronics recycling roundup.
