Rescue and fire personnel were dispatched to the Napoleon Industrial Park Thursday afternoon, where heavy snow and rain caused damage to a storage facility. 14 persons were injured, when a section of roof came down at Cloverleaf Cold Storage. Three were eventually transported to the Henry County Hospital; and were later released.
The location of the roof collapse is 1165 Independence Drive in Napoleon. The incident occurred around 1pm , when a 40-foot by 150 foot section caved-in. Napoleon fire and rescue was called to the scene, with assistance from Liberty Center and Ridgeville Fire departments, and Holgate EMS. A plant next to Cloverleaf was evacuated as a precaution; but they were called back soon after the Ammonia leak was contained.
