MCCABE CONVICTED IN FULTON COUNTY JURY TRIAL FOR DRUG CULTIVATION

 

 

A Wauseon man is facing up to three years in prison, after his conviction in a Fulton County Common Pleas Court jury trial last week.  54 year old Marc McCabe of Wauseon was convicted of Illegal Cultivation of Marijuana.  A jury of six men and six women deliberated about 90 minutes before returning their verdict of Guilty.  A pre-sentence investigation was ordered by the court.

 

In another case, 30 year old Justin Roth of Archbold pled guilty to Attempted Illegal Manufacture of Drugs, in a case stemming from production of Methamphetamines.

 

Roth was placed on community control for three years; and ordered to complete the SEARCH program.  His driver’s license was suspended for six months, and he was ordered to abide by a curfew.

 

And 27 year old Anthony Buonantuono (bwan-un-tono) of Wauseon pled guilty to theft of money from a cub scout pack.   Buonantuono was placed on community control for two years, to make restitution of over $1,000, and to seek employment.
