The numbers are in for Napoleon’s lodging tax collection for the past year. That figure is $85,867, which is about $2,000 behind last year’s revenues. It’s a collection from the various hotels and motels in Napoleon; and is split by the local tourism bureau, and the Napoleon city general fund.
Joel Miller administers the tourism bureau activities at the Henry County Chamber of Commerce. Some of the funds are also utilized to advertise Napoleon in the Ohio Magazine.
