LIBERTY CENTER SCHOOLS RECEIVE DONATION FROM PAST GRAD AND EMPLOYEE
A former employee and graduate of Liberty Center schools has given back to her community through her estate. The family of Annabel Baker Norman recently contributed $250,000 to the Liberty Center schools, with the funds designated toward a permanent project in the district.
Baker-Norman was a 1932 Liberty Center grad; and later was employed as secretary to the superintendent for ten years at LC. She moved to Columbus and worked at the Battelle Memorial Institute; while her husband owned and operated Burger Chef stores in Zanesville.
Janet Zachrich and Brian Baker made the presentation to Liberty Center schools.
