HENRY COUNTY UNITED WAY KICKS-OFF CAMPAIGN FOR 2013
The 2013 United Way campaign was launched this week in Henry County, with 7 pace-setting employee groups leading the way. At this point in the campaign, $117,555 has been raised in pledges; heading toward this year’s goal of $486,000.
Here’s a recap of the pace-setters this year: The employees of Snyder Automotive Group increased their giving by 4%. PNC Bank employees had a 9% increase with 100% participation. The employees of First Federal Bank hiked their giving by 21% over last year.
The employees at the Napoleon Bus Garage pushed their giving to 12% over the previous year.
The staff at the Four County Career Center contributed more than $7,000, which is a 17% increase.
Employees of Napoleon Area Schools were also a pace-setting contributing nearly $6,000, and a 5% increase.
And the employees of the Henry County Bank contributed $14,786; which put them at the highest per capita giving at 231-dollars.
The professional division has hit 80% of their goal so far.
And the city and county residential campaigns in Henry County are just getting underway. All the dollars contributed toward the United Way will help provide services for thousands of Henry County residents, through 13 health and human service agencies.
