A couple of potential construction projects were the target of discussion for the Henry County Commissioners today (Tues.). Commissioners approved a contract with WSOS Community Action Commission for professional services to complete a Rural Development Environmental Report concerning the new regional water treatment plant proposed in Napoleon. This grant seeks $7,500 for that study.
The Henry County Commissioners also talked about a proposal for security improvements in the Oakwood Office Complex, with a local company. The preliminary cost estimate for that work is just over $25,000.
The board approved a draw of $14,350 from the Ohio Development Services Agency, for home repairs in rural Napoleon.
And Henry County Commissioners clerk Vicki Glick was appointed the Records Commission for the Maumee Valley Planning Agency. The commissioners are also headed to Marion County Wednesday to attend a Medicaid Readiness Roundtable Meeting, along with Job and Family Services Executive Director, Shannon Jones.
