The Henry County Commissioners have hired some part-time personnel to fill slots vacated in some county services. The board hired Kevin Glanz of Napoleon for a part-time custodial position at $9 per hour, estimated at 25 hours per week. And Nicole Geahlen of Malinta was approved as the new deputy dog warden in a part-time role. That’s a 20-hour per week position at $10 per hour.
Henry County Commissioners also went into executive session to discuss personnel, including complaints against a public employee; but no action was taken.
The revolving loan fund agreement with Ridgeworks LLC was approved with final payment in full on that loan, which then releases the mortgage. This was for improvements in an office complex project in Ridgeville Corners, in a loan for $60,000.
A third quarter appropriation for OSU extension in HenryCounty was approved at just over $42,200.
And the Henry County Commissioners approved a memorandum of understanding between Job and Family Services and the Henry County Child Support Enforcement Agency, which will release over $11,800 from the income maintenance allocation fund. These dollars now go for the child support state match ceiling excess.
