HENRY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AWARD BID FOR FARM GROUND RENTAL
After opening six bids seeking to rent the farm ground adjacent to the Henry County Home, county commissioners have awarded that contract to an ag-producer from Ridgeville Township. Mike Beck was given the bid, paying $318 per acre, in a 4-year agreement. The rental is for about 225 acres of land.
The Henry County Commissioners went into executive session to discuss potential litigation; but no action was taken.
Commissioners accepted the resignation of deputy dog warden Tim Richard, effective at the end of the week.
The Henry County board reviewed the maintenance and repair work being done at the courthouse, by contractor Bill Myers.
