Traffic accidents were the big story in Northwest Ohio on Tuesday. The highway patrol investigated a fatal crash in the village of Ney, in DefianceCounty yesterday morning. 88 year old Robert Kibble of Bryan was southbound on route 15, when his vehicle drove-off the end of a T-intersection, striking a utility pole at Tuesday. Kibble sustained critical injuries; and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers have released the name of the driver in that head-on fatal that occurred on Airport Highway Monday evening. 55 year old Douglas Pile of Toledo reportedly drove left-of-center, striking an oncoming semi around Monday. Pile was pronounced dead at the scene in SwantonTownship.
Napoleon Police released information from a car-pedestrian accident that occurred Monday in the city. At that day, 26 year old Alyssa Mount of Defiance was stopped at the intersection of First and Barnes Street, when she drove northbound, and struck 12 year old Austin Alvarado of Napoleon. Alvarado suffered injuries; and was transported to the HenryCountyHospital by Napoleon Rescue.
