DEFIANCE MAN BOUND OVER TO HENRY COUNTY GRAND JURY
A Defiance man has been bound over to the Henry County Grand Jury on a felony charge of Violating a Protection Order. 27 year old Carmel Castillo waived his preliminary hearing on the offense, and must report to CCNO for fingerprinting, and to the Henry County probation department once a week.
In Fulton County Common Pleas Court, 22 year old Shane Machala of Wauseon pled guilty to Permitting Drug Abuse. Machala was placed on community control for two years; but must spend 10 days at CCNO. A curfew was also imposed by the court.
22 year old Anthony Thatcher of Delta pled guilty to Attempted Trafficking in Marijuana. Thatcher was placed on community control for one year, and his driver’s license was suspended for six months.
And 27 year old Brett Casey of Wauseon was convicted of Arson, for setting fire to his own home. Casey was placed on community control for two years, and was ordered to serve 30 days at the regional jail, along with imposition of a curfew.
