DEER HUNTERS DONATE VENISON

What’s a word to describe deer hunters across the Buckeye State?   Caring would be one.   The Ohio Department of Natural Resources reports food banks across the state received donations of about 58,500 pounds of venison this past year, which provided 234,000 meals for those in need.

Venison is one of the most nutritious foods available.  The meat is lean, and there are no additives or hormones.  77 meat processors across the state participated in this venison donation program.
