The Napoleon Area Schools are moving to ‘plan B’ in their search for a new athletic director at the high school level. A search committee had selected a candidate with current experience as an athletic director and assistant principal, but that candidate turned the job down.
The Napoleon school administration has moved to another phase; by searching for an interim athletic director. They have contacted NLL league commissioner Larry Morrison, about potential candidates from a list of former athletic directors, to just carry the district through the end of this year. That process is underway, as Napoleon makes contacts to try and secure a leader for the athletic program. Due to the interim nature of the position at this point; an administrator’s license will not be required.
High school principal Ryan Wilde (wild) has taken-on the duties of athletic director, in the meantime.
