Three subjects are in custody following arrests from a ‘burglary in progress’ call received this (Tues.) morning by the Henry County Sheriff’s office. Sheriff Mike Bodenbender reports a resident on HenryCounty road 24 in RidgevilleTownship returned home at 8:12am, and noticed a garage door open. The home-owner then discovered a subject in his house, and another coming down from upstairs. One of the suspects threatened the owner with a blunt object before fleeing from the home. The resident called 9-1-1 at 8:12am today, and witnessed the suspects run into a nearby cornfield. Minutes later a sheriff’s deputy arrived on the scene, and saw two males matching the description of the suspects run from a corn field, and into a waiting car on road U in RidgevilleTownship. After a short pursuit, the vehicle was stopped, and three male subjects were taken into custody.
Those three suspects are 20 year old Tyler McCabe, 20 year old Shane Donnelly, and 19 year old Victor Guererro-all of HenryCounty. Tyler McCabe, Shane Donnelly, and Victor Guererro were all charged with Aggravated Burglary, a first degree felony, and are being held at the regional jail, where further charges are pending. The HenryCounty canine unit assisted in finding evidence at the scene, and the Fulton County Sheriff’s office provided manpower for the search and arrest.
