ADAMS BOARD TALKS LEVY RENEWAL

After serving more than 5,700 children and adults with mental health services in 2012; the Four County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services is looking to continue those programs with passage of a renewal levy in November.  According to the Adams Board, that renewal levy costs a tax payer with a $100,000 home, about 21-dollars per year.

Since this levy was last approved in 2008, state funding for the Adams Board has been reduced by about 1.6 million dollars.

The numbers also reflect the Adams Board is on-target to save at least $120,000 this year, due to their partnership with the Fulton County Stress Center in Wauseon.

And Dave Durham of rural Napoleon attended his first meeting as a new member of the Four County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services, since his appointment late this summer.
